Get Your BigCommerce API Credentials
- Log in to your BigCommerce Store
- Navigate to Settings then API then Store-level API Accounts
- Click Create API Account
- Name it “Email Calculator” and give it Read-only access to Orders
- Click Save
- Copy the following credentials:
- Store Hash (from your store URL)
- X-Auth-Token
Tip: Your store hash is the alphanumeric code in your store URL: store-{store_hash}.mybigcommerce.com
Connect to Email Calculator
Paid plan required. BigCommerce integration is available on paid accounts. View pricing
- Go to your Email Calculator Settings page
- Find the API Integrations section
- Select ROI Platforms from the dropdown
- Choose BigCommerce
- Enter your Store Hash
- Enter your X-Auth-Token
- Click Connect Platform
Track UTM Parameters
To attribute BigCommerce orders to specific email campaigns, use one of these methods:
- Add UTM parameters to product URLs in your emails
- Use custom order fields (via BigCommerce apps/plugins)
- Track UTM data in order notes or metadata
Email Calculator will extract UTM parameters from custom fields, order metadata, or referrer data.
