Get Your PayPal API Key
- Log in to the PayPal Developer Dashboard
- Click Apps & Credentials in the top menu
- Switch to Live mode (top right toggle)
- Click Create App
- Enter an app name (e.g., "Email Calculator") and click Create App
- Copy your Client ID
- Click Show next to Secret and copy the Secret
Connect to Email Calculator
Paid plan required. PayPal integration is available on paid accounts. View pricing
- Go to your Email Calculator Settings page
- Find the API Integrations section
- Select ROI as the integration type
- Choose PayPal from the platform dropdown
- Enter your account details and paste your credentials
- Click Connect Platform
- Wait for the green checkmark confirmation
Create Your First Report
- Navigate to your Dashboard
- Click the + New Report button
- Select your email platform and campaign
- In the ROI section, select PayPal
- Email Calculator will automatically match orders to campaign recipients
- View ROI, revenue, order count, and coverage metrics
PayPal data available via Email Calculator
- • Transaction ID and status
- • Transaction amount and currency
- • Payer email and name
- • Transaction date and time
- • UTM parameters from custom field data
